[ STRATEGIC | PEOPLE | OPERATIONS | CHANGE ]
Hello… I’m Julian Evans. I started Littleton Evans in 2008 and have decades of top-level leadership experience to draw from. This ranges from being on a corporate management team with responsibility for staff-to-management relations of 600 staff plus oversight for strategic change programmes, through to supporting a multiplicity of senior leaders in SME and corporate businesses across the UK in an equally diverse set of sectors (see ‘Clients’ page), from short-term to long-term engagements, including acting as a CEOs virtual COO or chief of staff. I don’t think anything would surprise me now.
But it’s not just the experience. It’s also the reassuring ‘kite-mark’ credentials which prove I am not just ‘winging it’. I’m a Chartered Manager, which is the highest status that can be achieved in the leadership and management profession, and a Certified Principal Business Psychologist, which is the main ‘been-there-done-it’ level of accreditation in this profession. This ‘kite-mark’ combo is our USP as we blend the two seamlessly, which is really powerful. Other management consultants, advisors, or business coaches are certainly not like us.
I’m also fully qualified and very well experienced in executive coaching, life coaching, psychometric assessments, and mediation of disputes. Pretty useful. On the business front, we have been accredited by the Good Business Charter (GBC) for our responsible business behaviour, and are members of the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB).
A safe pair of hands for sure.
As they say, “If you always do what you’ve always done, you’ll always get what you’ve always got.”
The UK is a nation of under-trained “accidental” managers, hoping they are doing the right things in the right way… but not really knowing if this is the case.
Yet, this matters, because as the ONS says, there is a statistically significant correlation between good management practices and company performance. Not only that, SMEs are worse than larger businesses (i.e. sub-optimal), and owner-managed family businesses are even worse still.
Your company is too important to ‘wing it’ and hope for the best. Surely, you want to thrive! But this is not easy to achieve in our ever-changing world… taking no action or the wrong action would make you more vulnerable to decline. It doesn’t have to be like that.
We can help you and your people to adapt in a way that both works for our modern era, and feels right, future-proofing leadership skills so you can all pull together to become the best you possibly can. More sustainable growth beckons, as does a long list of business benefits, plus an ability to handle the future succession or sale of your business more effectively. The stuff of dreams!
PS… for those who love statistics, the Chartered Management Institute says that companies who invest in management and leadership development programmes see on average a 23% increase in organisational performance and a 32% increase in people performance. Well worth it.
“If you’re not riding the wave of change, you’ll find yourself beneath it.”
